We offer a simple and safe way to get lifted, more awake eyes

When it comes to looking awake and radiant, the secret weapon is a lifted eye and brow. In the past, women who dreamt of an eyebrow lift like Hollywood stars—think Kendlall Jenner and Bella Hadid—only had two options: Surgery or thread lifts. At Biolite, we’ve found a third alternative: Botox and Ultherapy. A combination of less-invasive treatments that take the place of plastic surgery. After only one session of 45 minutes, you will have tighter skin around the eyes and a natural eyebrow lift.

How is it better than a thread eyebrow lift?

Thread lifts are not a new concept. They hit the market 15 years ago, but the FDA put a stop to some early versions of the procedure. It used permanent threads to temporarily lift the skin and stimulate the body’s own collagen production, leading to inflammation and scarring. Although now replaced with biodegradable threads, they are still painful, have a long downtime, and can cause complications of asymmetry and infections. On the other hand, we believe in procedures that are safe with minimal downtime: Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared procedure to lift non-surgically, while Botox gives your eyes a big lift while decreasing lines and wrinkles. Both procedures done together result in an eyebrow lift with minimal downtime and pain.

How does it work?

The two-step procedure starts with a 25-minute Ultherapy session. Using ultrasound imaging, Ultherapy allows the doctor to target and intensely heat the areas under the skin that need tightening for an eyebrow lift. It creates micro-wounds into the collagen and fibrous tissues, which, as they heal, cause the skin to contract, tighten, and stimulate collagen and elastin. Next is Botox, a 20-minute session, where the injections are strategically placed around the eyebrow to stop the muscles from pulling downward.

What is the downtime?

Because Ultherapy is non-ablative, meaning it does not affect the surface of the skin, there is no downtime. However, injectables used during an eyebrow lift may cause bruising and swelling. To avoid this, follow proper post-Botox care: Don’t lean forward or lie down for four hours, don’t touch your face or apply makeup for 24 hrs, and no gym, laser, sauna, or facial for five days. Most importantly, do not rub your eyes.

When can I see results?

The Botox will kick in within seven to 10 days, while Ultherapy produces results over three months. You may see some visible tightening and an eyebrow lift appear in a few days, but it will take up to three months for collagen rebuilding to happen.

How long does it last?

Botox breaks down every three to six months while Ultherapy lasts longer, sometimes even two years. The procedure, when done in combination, will give you results that last for 12-18 months. To maintain the eyebrow lift, top-ups are recommended after a year or more.A few other points to keep in mind:

It does hurt. We recommend taking Ibuprofen—400mg 30 minutes before the procedure starts.

You can book the procedure even if you’ve had Botox injected recently, although a gap of 10 days is advised.

This procedure will only accentuate your features and not alter them.

Watch our Instagram stories on the procedure here.To know more or book an appointment, reach out for a consultation here.FEATURED IMAGE COURTESY: https://www.freepik.com/photos/hand

When it comes to looking awake and radiant, the secret weapon is a lifted eye and brow.
