Taji Tele-Cardiology Network

The Taji Tele-Cardiology Network is a nationwide digital healthcare initiative developed for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to strengthen cardiovascular services through connected care and advanced clinical collaboration. Designed to improve access to specialist expertise, the network connects 15 hospitals while allowing each facility to operate independently through a secure, centralized Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA). This connected infrastructure enables clinicians to share diagnostic information, access patient records, and collaborate in real time to support faster and more informed clinical decision-making.

Powered by Philips' advanced cardiovascular technologies, including ISCV, PB, AVW, VNA, and iECG, the network currently supports more than 200,000 patients and manages over 750,000 cardiac studies. By improving workflow efficiency, enabling second-opinion consultations, balancing clinical workloads, and strengthening data governance, the project represents a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia's healthcare transformation and its vision for connected, technology-enabled patient care.
